The 2016 eebrake DM is our standard front brake for Direct Mount brake fitted bikes. The 2016 eebrake DM uses a new forged aero-light front arch that provides aero, light weight and outstanding braking performance in one beautiful package (78 grams). This model fits the rear of the Trek Emonda and other frames that use a direct mount brake on the rear at the seat stays. (Some frames with aero seat tubes and low seat stay/seat tube junctions that use Direct Mount brakes on the seat stays may not provide clearance needed for the embrace.)

The 2016 eebrake DM rear is ideally suited for under the bottom bracket Direct Mount brake road and TT frames. The DM provides a narrow brake profile for clearance at bottom bracket/chain stay area inside of the crank for crank arm fitted power meters including Stages and Pioneer power meters. The “across the center” eebrake cable routing works perfectly in the space limitations under the bottom bracket. The eebrake DM rear brings the eebrake’s light weight, functionality and braking performance to the under the bottom bracket location. (74 grams)
